Customer Commitment: a Message from the Logix Team
We will continue to operate Logix’s production, warehouse and fulfillment center with minimum essential business personnel to support customers and customer projects. As of now, we have minimum impact to our supply chain and are working directly with affected suppliers and customers on a case-by-case basis.
To Our Valued Customers and Partners,
As we monitor the rapidly changing COVID-19 developments and follow the directives of national and local authorities, we are committed to keeping the safety of our customers, business partners, and team members at the center of all our decisions and actions.
The protection of our mutual projects and personnel remains a top priority as we collectively work to mitigate the impact of COVID-19. Logix is committed to working with you to maintain strong processes and controls to keep our people safe, and minimize risk of significant disruption in our support and in our supply chain.As of March 25, 2020, Logix’s current response is as follows:
Maintain timely communication with customers, suppliers, and employees based on changes that affect them.
Promote COVID-19 preventative hygiene practices, provide hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes in all Logix offices and shared common areas.
Employee Telecommuting and Travel
We will maintain adequate staffing to keep customer projects moving forward, and parts procurement and shipments up to date.
We are actively encouraging all employees experiencing mild to severe cold-like symptoms to stay home and/or from work-from-home if eligible. We are advising them to seek appropriate medical care if necessary.
Employees residing in states and local areas affected by ‘Shelter in Place’ or ‘Stay-At-Home’ orders are asked to work from home, where appropriate.
We encourage the use of teleconferencing for meetings when possible, onsite customer technical support will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
All non-essential business travel is suspended, including air travel. Use of public transportation is highly discouraged (Metro bus, Uber, Lyft, taxi, and so forth).
We are strongly discouraging personal travel and asking employees to notify managers in the event they do travel. Travel will be approved to aid in the procurement or specification of products or services to customers identified as essential businesses as defined by local or state authorities.
Employees approved for travel will be provided a travel exemption notice on official corporate letterhead.
Employees traveling to Level 2 or 3 CDC Travel Advisory Countries are required to self-quarantine at home for 14 days.
Washington state “Stay Home, Stay Safe” implications
On March 23, Governor Jay Inslee ordered most of Washington state residents to “Stay Home, Stay Safe” for at least two weeks as the state tries to slow the growing spread of the novel coronavirus. Non-essential businesses were ordered to shut down. The governor’s office released a long list of business sectors in which workers will be exempted from staying home, including those in the Food and Agriculture sector.
Logix meets several of the exemptions outlined in the order under the Food and Agriculture sector as a supplier and/or vendor critical to that infrastructure sector. In particular: Employees engaged in the manufacture and maintenance of equipment and other infrastructure necessary to agricultural production and distribution.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
Fully Operational – Logix is open during normal business hours 8:oo a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific time.
Service & Support – We are available 24 hours a day by calling 425.828.4149, whenever you need us, to make sure your system is running the way it should. Although we encourage employees to work remotely, Logix engineers and technicians are available to answer any of your questions via phone or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Same Day Shipping – We have stock and can ship most items the same day, or request drop shipment directly from our suppliers. Our Customer Service team is able to provide P&A on parts as well as take orders over the phone.
Supply Chain – We are remaining diligent in our supply chain reviews and are developing contingency plans to lower the impact to our customers.
